A 1920's Early English character teddy bear. 'Ol Blue Eyes' is a sweet little Early English Chiltern teddy bear standing at 13" tall from the tips of his toes to the tips of his ears. He is completely wood wool stuffed and five ways jointed and although they are a little loose, particularly on his legs, he is still able to sit up on his own. He has been loved, but he is still a sturdy little chap and has managed to retain about 50% of his golden mohair, which is soft and clean. His growler is making his tummy look quite big! His eyes are blue glass eyes, hence his name, and his nose stitching is original but his smiley mouth is a more recent addition. His cotton paw pads are actually in quite good condition with just a couple of small but stable holes in his carded feet.
